Serving as Executive Director of Faith Defenders, Robert Morey brings a broad array of impressive academic credentials to the Millerstown, Pennsylvania-based evangelical ministry. Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Covenant College in 1969, Robert Morey transitioned to Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, where he earned a Master of Divinity in 1972 and a Doctorate in 1989. Seven years later, Robert Morey received an honorary Doctor of Divinity in Islamic Studies from Faith Theological Seminary. Most recently, in 2004, Louisiana Baptist University bestowed Robert Morey with a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies. In addition to these degrees, Robert Morey has taken coursework at L'Abri Fellowship International in Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Aside from engaging in academic endeavors at renowned schools and universities, Robert Morey involves himself in various ministries to inspire others. Robert Morey served as Pastor for New Life Bible Church and Faith Community Church. In addition to chairing the membership committee for The Evangelical Theological Society in Louisville, Kentucky, Robert Morey also aids the society as an Adjunct Professor of Apologetics. The Perry Bible Institute employed Robert Morey as a Professor of Apologetics and Hermeneutics. The California Biblical University and Seminary subsequently hired Robert Morey to serve as its President. In addition to his teaching duties, Robert Morey functions as a speaker on issues related to religion, apologetics, philosophy, and the occult.
